DARS is licensed and used by institutions large and small around the US and in Canada. Higher education has changed incredibly since 1983, and in the area of degree audit reporting DARS has led the way in providing effective service to institutions and to the individual student.

DARS interfaces with homegrown and purchased Student Information systems, and runs in a relational database format. DARwin is DARS' graphical user interface providing windows to support DARS table-driven system.

DARS provides a dynamic and concise report, viewed in hard copy, on line and over the web, that is used for advising as well as for final certification. DARS contains a very powerful transfer course articulation component that can report articulated courses by institution, with or without summary GPA information. Additionally, DARS can include references to another institution's courses which are equivalent to courses still needed to complete requirements.

>

Various methods for customizing the appearance of audits
